I am a vodafone prepaid user from West Bengal.
Today morning, I suddenly realised that Rs 49 deducted from my vodafone account balance !
When I talked with customer care, at first the junior said that there is a service activated in my number and when I asked him to transfer the call to senior, the senior said that I downloaded a wallpaper worth 49 rs !
Let me clear that I have DND enabled fully, and Flash deactivated, so there is no chance of flash msg or force download.
Infact I didn't get any message of service activation or any wallpaper. Last time they deducted 30 rs before two month and told that the deduction was for something like NDTV value pack and they can't refund that.
I have my internet pack activated and vodafone deducted 49 for some service like DNLD-DWAP_WAL_0049_PPU_FUT00130
I didn't downloaded from any paid site or service, infact there is no downloaded file on my phone or any suspicious link in my browser history.
I just searched "DNLD-DWAP_WAL_0049_PPU_FUT00130" and found so many balance deduction complain regarding this.
30 or 49 is not a big deal but yes, fraud is fraud.
I can't believe that an international company can make these kind of fraud!
In that case, I am going to port my number to another operator.
