My wife is physically handicapped and i was travelling with her along with my daughter on Indigo airlines 6E 237 on 27th Jan'14 from Jaipur to Kolkata. The lady at Jaipur Indigo counter Anjali was very rude. My wife and myself were carrying Id card but not my daughter (3rd passenger), Anjali printed the boarding passes and kept with herself. She didn't give us but insisted on 3rd passenger ID also and kept arguing.
No staff from indigo came for help for physically handicap passenger. Anjali misbehaved with us and she was very slow in doing the check ins of passengers ahead of us in line. We had some extra baggage because those were medicine kept in closed ice boxes and some food. She constantly argued on extra weight that we were carrying which we said we will carry along with us (despite my wife on wheel chair passenger) but she charged us enormously for 16 Kgs and ignored that those were hand baggages and their weight should not be charged. She made me pay Rs 4000 with constant arguments and flight departure was near. I had bought tickets for Rs 30000 for 3 passengers on this pathetic Indigo airline. I have never faced such harassment from any other airline esp the way we were treated with my wife being physically handicapped. Bad and disgusting experience with Indigo and their staff. The wheel chair also came late to aircraft in Kolkata.
Faced lot of problems being senior citizens. I will never fly indigo in future and will never suggest to others.
