Anonymous on "Rediff Shopping- Broken Hiking pole delivered"

In reference to order number 21650101 , product details- Hiking Pole:Hiking ole 9 LED Trekking pole Walking Stick Trekking Stick.
I ordered(COD) the above mentioned product on rediff shopping on 9th October 2014.The product was delivered at my address on 22nd October 2014. After opening the product I found out that the walking stick was broken and thus, I immediately called up the contact number mentioned on the delivery slip- 9920255152 . The person on the other end asked me to send in photographs of the broken product via Whatsapp ,I did the same and the person said that a new product had been dispatched to my address and I will receive the replacement in 3-4 days time. He also gave me a courier number for tracking purposes.However , I could not track the product online ever. After about 5 days I called back on the same number and there was no reply.Even on whatsapp there wasn't any reply.Till today, I haven't received the replacement product.Also, today when I rechecked the courier number I found out that the number exactly matched the initial defective product's courier number.
This is a case of pure bluffing and customer deception.
Presently, I want the product to be collected back and a refund of the amount paid should be made.
If rediff shopping fails to take actions soon enough in this regard, I wouldn't have any option but to move to consumer court.
