Received an SMS from RCOM about a pending payment of 646 against CAF 2388819403. Upon calling back at number mentioned, got a rude reply of paying up or face legal action. This amount is against a 2010 disconnected service of a Data Card. Four years later I am contacted on my Mobile number which has always been with them. I had disconnected after paying all dues. After four years - I have no record of this data card with me. However, RCOM sees it fit to put this statement across bluntly and rudely.
Reliance is very well known for its bad record keeping and bill generation issues. I write this one off also to the same. However, I feel that this amount is wrongly kept outstanding in my name and needs to be written off. If someone from Reliance can call and sort this out with me in an amicable way, it would be nice.
