This is very disheartening to bring this matter into your notice on a public forum that such a prestigious and reputed bank like ICICI can be so unaware about the frauds happening in their system and negligent towards their loyal customers that, I have to face such a huge loss. Few days back on October 8th 2015, two unauthorized transaction of Rs 10,000.00 and Rs 6500.00 took place from my salary account in which a sum of Rs 16,500.00/- was debited from my account without my permission. I was told that my debit card was cloned and was swiped at NON ICICI ATM in Hapur CITY, UP. I am currently working in Noida and I have never been to Hapur city nor did I share the details of my card with anybody. It was my hard earned money I had saved to pay for my tuition fee, but this incident has caused my plans to go north-south and arouse questions to my blind faith in ICICI.
The thing which comes as a shock to me is that in spite of several reminders and conversation with the authority, the higher management is not updating me with the status of the complaint filled, which was revealed when I called the customer care and they replied very casually that it will take another few days for your service complaint to be addressed
I’m shocked by this incident and wondering that what else could possibly be safer than a bank to keep the money in. I’m ashamed to be a part of ICICI family and feel cheated by you people as I suffered deception with false promises made and giving me dishonest leverages at the time of opening the account for your own disgraceful motives, personal benefits and advantages. Please be informed it has been 3 weeks now and I am going to escalate this issue to RBI if the customer service team keeps working with this casual attitude and I don't get my money back.
