With reference to the Yatra PNR number YT14442650, I would like to raise a very big issue which has occurred with me for which I feel I am at a huge loss.
Proceeding step by step:

Firstly I made a booking with yatra.com on April 30th for a return flight from Hyderabad to Paris for the dates May 30th (outbound) and July 30th (inbound).

Then on May 22, I wanted to reschedule my flight from May 30th to June 1st. . It was mentioned that I should go to My Bookings and place a request. So I placed a request at 11:29 am on May 22nd and got this email (Proof 3)

I placed an amendment request on My Bookings and I was said that I will be contacted by a Yatra agent within 24 hours and confirm the cancellation (i.e. for amendment as I thought then). So I feared that Yatra may cancel the ticket and immediately called to the customer support to help me reschedule the ticket.

A lady, Ms. Ritu Sharma addressed my call and assisted me with rescheduling the ticket. I was made to pay the refund/ cancellation fee of 13706 INR. Then she sent me an email with the itinerary and asked for confirmation which I did immediately.

In this E-ticket, I was only sent the confirmation of June 1 ticket at around 3:30 Pm on May 22nd (not the return ticket), so I asked about the return ticket in the reply email. But I didn't get any reply.

Then on May 23rd at 4:12 PM i.e "AFTER 24 HRS OF THE CANCELLATION REQUEST" I received an email regarding the confirmation. I confirmed to the email thinking that this is not an email regarding the cancellation of the rescheduled ticket (mainly because 24 hrs have already been passed) but the email regarding the cancellation of the May 30th ticket (which was rescheduled to June 1) as per the formalities of rescheduling.

After I confirmed I got an email saying that the booking is cancelled. I feared that Yatra cancelled the entire ticket and referred to the My Booking section in " Upcoming Travel Plans" tab. I found out that June 1 booking is not cancelled and was relieved. As a matter of fact, the status in My Booking is still the same (as of today).

And recently I got an email saying that an amount of 32,038 INR have been refunded. I checked the email today and called the Yatra service center to learn the most saddest thing in my life that the entire booking and trip has been cancelled.
And when I talked about the status I have been told that there is some technical glitch and hence my ticket was cancelled and they are unable to do anything now. I also asked them how Ritu Sharma can reschedule a ticket on a same PNR on which cancellation request was placed? I didn't get any satisfactory reply.

I have been asked to resolve the dispute with the higher authority and get claims my lost money and time along with a lot of stress. I have been selected for a grant program in France and letting me know of such a thing just a few days before few days will not only put a lot of stress and loss of money on me but would have ruined my career, if I didn't realize this issue. I feel that I am being cheated and manipulated on a completely new level ( by yatra's websites and their technical glitches).

I hope that you treat this issue with your kind heart and help me out of a huge problem as soon as possible.

Hoping that you solve this problem with kind heart and settle the issue as gently as possible.

Sincerely and seriously,

A frequent and humble Yatra customer,

K. Sai Akhil Reddy
