I visited Brand Factory showroom situated at Panjagutta Hyderabad for shopping on November 13, 2011. I bought a pair of Jeans & a Tee at around 8.40 PM IST against the bill number # 002261. Brand Factory offers a free of cost additional services of alteration of clothes at all its outlet. I bought the jeans considering the fact that i would get it altered in length. But for my surprise, the tailor sitting there denied me to return the jeans the same day and asked me to collect it the next day . I went to the customer care branch head and explained him the situation. He replied that i could only get the jeans next day only as there was already a pile up for alterations and also they closed the store at 9.30 PM. My complaint against the firm is as follows:
Why the Sales agent do not make the shoppers aware of the fact that they will not be able to get the alteration work done the same day?
Why is not there any instruction about this additional service pasted anywhere in the store. Most of the shoppers buy it for the alterations facility provided to them?
Brand Factory should compensate the consumers for their time and money that they spend for just collecting the already purchased items again.
Brand Factory should let the consumer aware of the timing of this additional services so consumers would not be under impression and give a second thought before making any purchases.
With that being said, I want to claim for the time, money and energy that I have wasted at Brand Factory's outlet just in order to let them know what they ought to. And I became the focal point of many eyes watching at me and making me feel awkward. I want to claim the outlet for the discontentment and poor services. I want to claim the outlet for forcing (This is forcing only when someone does not tell you the after effects of something) me to buy their product without proper instructions, directions and after buying effects. I want to claim the outlet for the precious time that I lost and the dignity that i had to bring into fore among lots of audience and spectators.
