I POONAM ANKIT JAIN and my father submitted all the documents to KTJ NAGAR Police Station DAVANGERE ON 11/03/2014 as I was staying here before my marriage and on 26/03/2014 my father received a message on his cellphone that your passport verification is complete, contact our passport office courtesy police computer wing then I called to worli passport office Mumbai and asked about my file status they said they didn't received reports from Davangere Police station then my father contacted SP Office davangere Karnataka and still file was there only from last 22days after we submitted documents as my father asked to police they said they have 45days time to keeps file here don't worry we will send it. I didnt understand as everything was clear then why they kept there from last so many days. today as per new governance rule I have to receive my passport with in a month or 40 days but after 1 month and 9 days still no changes in my status and Today again I called to worli passport office and they said still they didn't received file from davangere police its Almost 32 days completed since we submitted the reports here may I know sir where the rule of any police station to keep so many days the file in there office after all documents completed I think so they need bribe or money for that purpose only they are not sending file to Mumbai RPO because they know if they will delay then only they will get the bribe and we are human beings we can't take any action on them as they are police please help me out and issue my passport as soon as possible please. Revert me back
