I Have a Honda Unicorn Motorcycle purchased in Feb 2007. I have been visiting Honda Service for regular maintenance for last 7 years that kept my bike in good condition till date.In Sept 14, rim of rear wheel got bent all of sudden and I have approached Honda Service Dealer Preetam Honda Andheri East Mumbai. I was ready to pay for RIM without spoke Rs.1200/- and kept my bike for 3 days with Service centre and also took Servicing as suggested by advisor,which was not necessary as it was serviced 4 months back.But 3 days after the bike was given to me without RIM change and with a statement that RIM is not available. I have lodged complaint on customercare@honda2wheelers.com . Mr Siddhesh from Honda Pune called after 15 days and said we will arrange part in another 10-15 days. I agreed to wait for more till this time my bike was lying idle as driving a bike with bent Rim is very dangerous. After 15 days got a call from Mr.Siddhesh Kulkarni he asked me to visit the said dealer (Preetam Honda) as required part is made available. When I visited the dealer they said Honda has sent the Complete RIM assembly and I have to pay Rs.2200/- for the same. I insisted on charges earlier quoted to me. But they said I have to pay for complete assembly.Mr. Kuldeep from Honda called and said I have to pay for complete assembly and also said that RIM doesnot come separately. I didnt accept it as Dealer said he is with Honda for 13years and RIM comes separately but got to listen to Honda people.
Why should I pay for assembly when RIM comes separately. Its cheating from Honda.
My bike still not being used and I am facing lots of problems by traveling by Auto which also gives dig at my valet.
