I have used reliance prepaid datacard last year, as my prepaid datacard
has been damaged I purchased new datacard(July 2014) from reliance with 3
months free postpaid services.Meanwhile, the new datacard got damaged
within couple of months and I could not replace it as the kiosk which I
purchased datacard had been closed. I only used the datacard for couple of
months but after 3rd month I started getting bills regularly eventhough I
am not using. They have generated bill of 1664 Rs by Novemeber. I informed
customercare (1800-300-5555) people about this and requested to terminate
service. They said they will connect to retention manager about the issue
and I use to keep on waiting for the connection but never retention
manager would come to line. Meanwhile, local collection executives used to
harrass me by calls and started visiting my home aswell. Inorder to
getaway the harrassment I have decided to settled down the issues and told
executives to bring their retention manager. One Mr. Naidu introducted as
Team lead from reliance communications come and spoke to me and after
series of discussions with him and his manager, it was decided if I pay
1000 Rs, they will terminate the services. Inorder to get rid of their
harrasment eventhough I have not using their services for the past few
months I paid 1000 Rs to Mr. Naidu and he promised that I will not receive
any more calls from reliance netconnect. But shortly after 1 week I
started getting calls from Reliace to pay some more amount around 200 Rs.
I called Mr. Naidu about this, he said he will send token number and Email
regarding termination of services but he never sent any. Meanwhile
reliance exectives started to irritate me again now they have sent 731 Rs
bill recently. First of all, I am surprised that eventhough my services
have been suspended from past 3 months why the bills are being generated.
Once the services are suspened there should not be any bills generated,
right. They reliance executives say that your services are suspended not
terminated. When we request to terminate they will ask us to pay the bills
which according to us we never used them and it is not fair on the part of
Amabani's to slap the bills unauthentically on innoncent customers.
Previously we have used Airtel postpaid in Hyd, but I never got sinlge
message from them after I have disconnected their services. But in Vizag
Reliance executives are behaving like pawn brokers. First off all they
will mislead and force us to purchase postpaid without giving complete
details to customers. After that they slap us with heavy bills in the name
rental charges , taxes etc eventhough we are not using their services.
This is complete injustice on the part of Reliance people to threaten and
harrass
people like this. I request authorities to look into these issues related
to internet services.
