with respect to Order No-10023001

Hi, i ordered a product from rediff shopping via COD, but i got the wrong product delivered(product was not matching its description). now after mailing the same i got a revert from rediff CSE named Minakshi and she asked me to take the pictures of the product and send it to them, after mailing the same she gave me their vendors address to courier the product myself to vendor in mumbai ....

Now my question is how can they think that a customer has so much time just to send back the defaulted product to rediff ???? and when i told Ms. Minakshi that i would have to take a short leave from office just for this, cant u send any anyone to pick this up from my address. she simply said that"IT IS IN THEIR POLICY THAT ONLY THE CUSTOMER HAS TO COURIER BACK THE PACKAGE WHATEVER THE COST MAY BE". FYI ---- she wrote me to "Package the product carefully"... ok now after feeling really cheated/humiliated, i thought of checking their policy on their website and it was nowhere found that a customer has to send back the package....

i called their customer care number - 18002662333 and spoke to Ms. Kajal for the same and she simply said that they can send someone to pickup the defaulted product.

My issue is with the lady was who was responding to my mails Minakshi, she never informed me that they can send someone to pickup their defaulted product even after i asked her that all the other shopping portals send their own representatives to pick up the product and i don't have time to courier it myself, still this lady was adamant about their policy(which i think is only for her and was nowhere to be found on their website).

Now i want people from rediff to pls teach her on how to actually service their customers and not misguide them and do not ever tell wrong policies to anyone. (atleast train her properly, she's representing rediff) it really has been a bad experience for me pls spare others.

My 1st mail to report the defaulted product was on 16th July 2014 and she has wasted 6 days because of this miscommunication, pls send someone to pickup the product and arrange for a refund ASAP.
