currently i am using airtel postpaid phone service which is ported from vodafone postpaid phone service. For which they are billing me till now.
On 11th November, I paid the remaining amount to vodafone but as their kisok was not in working state so i had to submit it to one of the vodafone guys(whatever funny name vodafone gives them like customer executive as if they are going to solve our problems). I received a customers copy of the receipt. On 11th December, I had to revisited vodafone outlet as there was no record of my payment on 11th of November. Again one of the vodafone guys took that receipt and went to their precious covered room they are fond of and came back with a computer generated bill of 11th of December.

When I asked my customers copy of the original receipt dated 11th of November they said,"maine toh fadd k fek diya".
They did this because it was the only proof of their fault or vodafone's fault. After that I was assured that my payment is complete and there is no remaining amount, for which I called vodafone customer care on which they also favored the outlet after I reported my issue.

And now when I am out of town, my phone services are barred by airtel as payment is pending of previous operator.

So bottom line never opt for vodafone postpaid or any vodafone services if you are in for a long haul. You won't have a phone to decrease communication gap but instead you will be adopting a baby for which you have to visit their outlets, call their customer care. Atleast even human baby leaves after sometime but vodafone is not ready to let go of those customers who ported their mobile numbers months ago to a far better service "AIRTEL"
