Dear Team Vodafone,
It is with great pain that i have to report to you my problem which to me appears simple but the service center executives are not helping me with resolving the issue.
I had a Vodafone postpaid connection as a CUG connection from my previous employer Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals Bangalore.
The phone no was 9538897223
From Yr 2011, i have been holding the number.
There were 2 sim number changes i think during that period
- I have preserved the sim cards with me - HLR8-89918-60044-80017-419 4
89918-60044-80223-636 3 -HLR8 - SYS
- In June 2013, i resigned from my company and put forward a request to transfer the No. to my personal number.
- The complete set of documents have been submitted - and i received a new SIM - Details are given below
PKDDT : 09.07.13
SIMNO : 8991860044802236363
IMSINO : 404864480223636
Post paid connection for my Blackberry.
- Because of some problem in my phone, i have bought a new phone which required a microsim. I got my sim cut and used for 2 days after which i was unable to make calls but receive calls and messages.
- I went to the Vodaphone Centre - Koramangala 80 feet road on Friday - 13th June 11:30 am - Token no 88 - counter E
To my surprise,
- my details have not been updated on your system.
- There is no record of reason for my visit to the same Vodafone centre - 4 times between June 2103 to Aug 2013.
- They are refusing to acknowledge that they have issued a new SIM from their centre 1 year back and asking me for Acknowledgement paper which i do not have.
- The bill payments have been done by me from my online account SBI.
- My connection still shows CUG with my previous employer
- They are refusing to issue a new micro SIM citing I am still in CUG with my previous employer.
- They are asking me to apply for a new number.
I can easily get a new connection and number but my problem is this no . 9538897223 is my work phone number for last 3 years.
I am a Doctor.I work in Pediatric Emergency and ICU.I take care of Sick Children with life threatening illnesses. All surrounding villages in North Bangalore and Andhra doctors consult me over phone for technical and medical support during acute emergencies. Besides 2000 patients who are on regular follow up remain in touch with me though this number.
It will be greatly appreciated if you allow me to retain the number and give a replacement SIM. Or allow me portability for the same number with a different network provider.
It will be lot of anxiety and hard work for me to change the number and let everyone know all over again.
Looking forward to an amicable solution
